Our Firm Safety Policy
To our Valued William & Co Cleaners Clients,
At William & Co Cleaners, we take immense pride in providing a meticulous and high-quality service to your home. To maintain these standards and ensure the absolute safety of your family and our professional cleaning technicians, we have implemented a firm update to our Unattended Minor Policy.
For the protection of all parties involved, our team members are strictly prohibited from performing cleaning services in any area of the home where children are present without the direct and active supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Furthermore, our staff cannot remain on the premises if a minor is left home alone.
The reasons for this firm stance include:
- Safety First: Our cleaning process involves professional-grade solutions and heavy equipment that can pose a risk to curious children.
- Liability & Insurance: Our insurance regulations require that an adult be present to oversee the household when non-family members are working on-site.
- Efficiency: To provide the "Minnesota Proud" level of clean you expect, our team needs to focus entirely on the task at hand without the distraction of child supervision.
Service Interruption & Trip Fees
We understand that schedules can change; however, our technicians are scheduled back-to-back to serve our community efficiently.
Please Note: If our team arrives and finds a minor unattended, or if an adult leaves the premises during the service, we will be forced to stop work and leave the property immediately for safety reasons.
In the event that a service is interrupted or cancelled due to this policy, a $75.00 Service Re-entry Fee will be applied to your account. This fee covers the costs of travel, lost labor time, and the rescheduling of your appointment.

No Tip - No Problem!
At William & Co. Cleaners we believe in complete transparency and a stress-free experience for every client. Please be advised that tipping is entirely optional and will never be requested or solicited by our team members. Furthermore, to ensure the highest standards of integrity and service, none of our independent contractors work on a commission basis. This policy guarantees that our professionals are focused solely on providing an exceptional clean and maintaining your home’s standards, rather than feeling pressured to upsell services or rush through their work for a sales-based incentive.
Policy: Scheduling, Arrival, and Late-Entry Fees
- Our Commitment to Punctuality
At our company, we pride ourselves on providing reliable, high-quality service. To ensure every client receives the full attention and time they deserve, we operate on a strict, synchronized schedule. When our team arrives on time, it allows us to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and care that you expect from us.
- The 30-Minute Grace Period
We understand that unexpected delays can happen. For this reason, we provide a 30-minute grace period from the start of your scheduled appointment time. During this window, our team will wait at the location and attempt to make contact via your preferred communication method (phone, text, or email).
- Late Fee Penalty and Service Status
Should the client or a representative not be present to provide access to the property within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time, the following actions will be taken:

The Late Fee: A $50.00 Late Fee Penalty will be automatically applied to the service invoice. This fee compensates our professional cleaners for their lost time and the disruption to the day’s logistical flow.

Service Completion: Once the 30-minute threshold has passed, our team is no longer obligated to complete the cleaning. If the team is able to stay and complete the job after the fee is accepted, the cleaning will proceed. However, if the delay interferes with a subsequent appointment, the cleaning will be canceled for the day, and the $50 fee (plus any applicable travel costs) will still be required.

Our Satisfaction Guarantee
At William & Co. Cleaners, your satisfaction is our priority. Should you be unhappy with any aspect of your cleaning service, we require that you submit the issue to us in writing within 24 hours of the cleaning completion. This allows us to promptly address your concerns. Please note, after this 24-hour period, all sales are considered final, and refunds cannot be issued. While a refund would not be possible after 24 hours William & Co. Cleaners will offer to return to resolve any issues to your satisfaction. We stand behind our work and sincerely want you to be happy with our service. *Return for service valid for 30 days at no charge to the client.

Understanding your cleaning service
To ensure the best possible service, it's important to understand the distinctions between our various cleaning options. For example, if a "light clean" is requested but upon arrival it's determined a "deep clean" is necessary, the price may be adjusted. Any changes to your service or pricing will only occur with your explicit permission. We uphold a strict zero-pressure sales policy; none of our independent contractors work on commission, ensuring our recommendations are always in your best interest.
